Momo: Not Your Ordinary Beach House
Along the less-explored beaches in Panglao, Bohol is a special beach house - where clocks tick a little slower and moments are felt deeper.
Momo Beach House is owned by couple Nikki and Ria Cauton, who ensure that the property remains as natural as possible. Its architecture embraces natural materials like nipa and wood. Most of the furniture are a product of upcycling and repurposing.
Chief Executive Officer Nikki Cauton said, "We use organic amenities like lemon grass, soaps, and shampoos."
The eco-chic boutique resort is successful in being personal. It houses 15 vibrant pastel colored guest rooms. Each are uniquely decorated - beds, couches, lamps, and other ornaments are different from one room to another.
Add the handwritten notes in every room, guests will really feel the warmth of Momo Beach House.
This sanctuary is a perfect place to unwind and take a break from the fast-paced life. The lounge area invites guests to play a board game, read a book, talk to a friend, or simply loosen up. The beach house is also generous of hangouts where guests can spend their time enjoying the peaceful setting of Momo beach.
Energetic guests can engage into activities like plunging in the pool, swimming in the beach, kayaking, or stand-up paddling.
The attentive and personable employees will make any type of traveler want to return to Momo Beach House.
"We get a lot of families, and we do get a lot of couples too from various areas such as Asia, US, as well as Europe," said Cauton.
